Our Guild is participating in the One Million Pillowcase Challenge thru Hearthside Quilt
Shoppe in Kidron, Ohio.
We are having alot of fun making pillowcases and reducing our "stash".
One of the incentives that Hearthside Quilt Shoppe is doing is: For every pillowcase that you bring into the store or guild meeting each month....you put your name in a drawing for a gift certificate to be used at the store. At the end of the year, the 12 monthly winners will be entered in a drawing for a much larger gift certificate. Now how much fun is that? It's a win-win for all! Local organizations benefit from the pillowcases, we "quilters/sewers reduce our stash and qualify for $ to use at the quilt store.
If you need instructions or want a pillowcase kit to start with, check at Hearthside Quilt Shoppe for more information.
